Moffett Field 3/6/22

Me, G-Money and Slazzy at Moffett on a Sunday.  As Slazzy said: "When it's breezy, take it easy. Well, take it easy all the time." And that was the key.  On the second hole I landed a 9-iron on the green into the wind, and proceeded to bogey on two putts. On the eighth I lost my first ball into another hole's sand trap. The next foursome was hitting to the green and I didn't want to get in their way. So I took a penalty stroke and teed off again. I hit a nice drive and then landed a 6-iron on the green, and with two putts (and the penalty stroke) managed a bogey (but a net par for me).  My favorite hole of the day was sixteen: I drove it right along the tree line which put me nearest the hole (in the red box). Then I put it on the green with a 7-iron, and unfortunately three-putted for a bogey.  Putting wasn't great, but the greens had just been sanded and the ball was all over the place. I felt good about my fairway hitting, putting balls on the green from 81...
